Gate Safety Week for Industry Professionals

Professionals and safety bodies that work within the powered gates and automated gates sector have a duty of care and legal responsibility in reference to the gates that they fit, maintain and service.  Accidents still continue to take place and part of the education around Gate Safety Week has been to produce a guidance toolkit for industry professionals to raise awareness of their responsibilities.

Our focus is on three main areas:

– Promoting the use of Safety Approved companies for gate installation and maintenance

– Improving awareness around product safety

– To encourage users of powered gates to get them checked.

Properly installed and maintained gates are perfectly safe to use.
